What is a 'CSA' Subscription?

The acronym, CSA, stands for Community Supported Agriculture. This program allows community members to purchase a "share" of their local flower farm. Farming can often be an unpredictable business and CSA subscriptions are a way to "share the risk and reap the rewards".  During the times when flowers are less abundant, bouquets may be leaner, but during the more plentiful weeks we share the bounty with our CSA members. Purchasing this share allows members to enjoy a seasonal selection of our fresh, locally grown flowers, support sustainable farming practices and experience the joy of freshly harvested blooms.

Our CSA Offerings

At Walking Bee Flowers, we offer a wide range of organic flowers including edible blooms and stunning cut flowers. Choose to have a weekly bouquet delivered to you, a loved one or a business or receive a weekly box of edible blooms for culinary use.  We offer a few different subscription options for our CSA's and these options are available as both cut flower bouquets and edible flower boxes.

There are 3, 5-week mini subscription options and a full-summer 15-week subscription.  Subscriptions include delivery fees to locations in Kalispell and Whitefish, but additional delivery fees may apply to other areas of the Flathead Valley.  Exact start dates will be subject to the April-June weather.
